Such poor customer service. Make sure to check up on your claim because they will NOT push through the claim even after they have claimed they have it in process.
Scam. Just like all insurance. Paid for insurance on a phone for years. When I used it they sent me an old refurbished phone with battery issues and would not help me further.
We actually had a pretty great experience with Assurant. We filed a claim for our broken washer through our Lowe’s protection plan and Assurant approved the claim that day AND scheduled an appointment for two days later. The GE tech showed up @ 0800hs, his first stop. My wife said he was a gentleman, he fixed the problem in an hour, showed her some tips on how to trouble shoot the electrical system, and was done. Canceled my policy and they kept charging me for a year after it was canceled. Trying to get ahold of them over the phone is almost impossible, their automated system doesn’t route well. When I finally got ahold of a person they were very nice, but were not equipped to help with the issue and they couldn’t put me in touch with someone who could help.
