I would not even give this facility one star. The care my father received was completely unacceptable and neglectful. When admitted, he was able to walk and feed himself. After just 10 days here, he left unable to walk, unable to feed himself, and severely dehydrated. The staff claimed they were “adjusting his medications,” yet he came back on the exact same medications he was already prescribed. Under no circumstances, should anybody family be going here. I’m not sure what type of protocol they’re trying to follow, but different medications. Every few hours on patient with dementia is not going to do well. My father went in here, alert, and responsive. Able to walk. Left unresponsive with pneumonia and broken ribs after a fall. I don’t know how this place is still open and I’m heartbroken to see that I’m one of the few parents made it out of here alive.

This place must not have very well trained staff. They also never called us in three days after leaving several message. Never called and ask us about her medical history or ther series of events that occurred prior to her arriving there. Would not recommend this place ever.
Do not let your loved one go here. My 93-year-old grandpa is now dead. He Was doing fine prior to his stay here. Was residing at Hampton Manor and because his dementia worsened at night and he was on the assisted living side, the facility made us do something about it. They convinced us that this assurance hospital was great for patients with dementia and that they would get him regulated on meds that would make him more comfortable.
