Under no circumstances, should anybody family be going here. I’m not sure what type of protocol they’re trying to follow, but different medications. Every few hours on patient with dementia is not going to do well. My father went in here, alert, and responsive. Able to walk. Left unresponsive with pneumonia and broken ribs after a fall. I don’t know how this place is still open and I’m heartbroken to see that I’m one of the few parents made it out of here alive.

This place must not have very well trained staff. They also never called us in three days after leaving several message. Never called and ask us about her medical history or ther series of events that occurred prior to her arriving there. Would not recommend this place ever.

Do not let your loved one go here. My 93-year-old grandpa is now dead. He Was doing fine prior to his stay here. Was residing at Hampton Manor and because his dementia worsened at night and he was on the assisted living side, the facility made us do something about it. They convinced us that this assurance hospital was great for patients with dementia and that they would get him regulated on meds that would make him more comfortable. Horrible experience!!! My mother’s significant other has Alzheimer’s and was taken here! And my mother wasn’t able to visit for awhile until they called her! Well they called and said his health was failing n sent to hospital we got to hospital and we were shocked at his appearance! He had bruises up and down his arms he smelled hadn’t been showered or teeth brushed. Kept crying to my mom take me home! I’m hungry! He looked like death and had been there 5 days! I would rate assurance geriatric psych services as 0. My brother was admitted for medication review to try and stabilize his Lewey body dementia. Because of very limited visiting hours followed by Covid exposure which closed visiting entirely ( yes, in 2023) we were given phone reports that he was doing well. Twice a day- he was doing well.
