Avoid trying to get a CDM. They just want your money. You will be required to spend $100+ on the membership, then you have to pay for the CDM test in full before you find out if you qualify (even if their website indicates you qualify, you still may not) then you will be refunded only a portion of the $400+ you paid for the CDM. Then if you want to cancel the ANFP membership that you no longer need, you have to jump through hoops and send a cancellation request in writing to cancel. The whole thing feels like a racket.
If you can avoid the CDM certification, do so. They don't care about their members & don't understand the challenges dietary managers face in today's world. All they want is your money.
