I was very disappointed with my experience at Associates of Neurology. I scheduled an appointment for Botox treatment to address ongoing neck stiffness and discomfort related to an injury that occurred over a year ago. While this issue is annoying rather than severe, I was hopeful for treatment to improve day-to-day comfort. I can finally breathe a sigh of relief, I had developed a severe tremor in my right hand, making me unable to use the hand for any fine motor skill movements. I went for my first visit today and will not return. I've ready asked my PCP for a referral elsewhere. The nurse was very nice, took my vitals, and took me to the NP (Tina) office where she sat behind her desk the entire time. No neurological exam, she never even looked at my pages and pages of questionnaires that I had to fill out. She asked me what medication I was on for migraines and then Googled other medications for me to try. Front desk lady was sweet, but Stephanie was awful! She was rude, completely careless, didn’t answer a single question that I had. I filled out paperwork with all my symptoms & she didn’t bother reading it, I feel like the visit was a waste of time & my money was wasted. She really seems to hate her job, acts as if patients are a bother. I felt any question I asked or information I was trying to get was a nuisance to her. I will not be following up, instead I’ll ask my provider to go somewhere else.

I never had an issue with Dr. Donovan; however, Stephanie Smith is very rude, harsh and cruel. She made me cry at my last appointment because I missed my sleep study, accidentally. The wait is long, but I think that Dr. Donovan is very good at what he does and very smart. The office staff have always been kind and helpful. If you can stick to seeing Dr. Donovan, that would be the route I would take.
