I had a new hearing test today after my last one 2 years ago and decided it was time to get hearing aides. The audiologist was thorough and friendly … but from there things went badly. I ordered hearing aides paying 50% down if $3000 and was told I’d receive my hearing aides in about 2 weeks. My mother in law went to Associates in Hearing HealthCare under the impression that they took her insurance. After finding out that the hearing aids would not be covered we went ahead and ordered them anyway and made a $3,000 deposit. We also got billed for the portion of the hearing test not covered by insurance but when I complained they waived it. I agree that the place has gone down hill. Been going there for 18 years the guy running it is not customer friendly at all. I would think if he treats everyone like he treated me the doors will soon be permanently close.
BUYER BEWARE!!!!. RIP OFF. I was tested by an audiologist (?). I have severe tinnitus. I was told to go to the next room to see John. He claimed he also had tinnitus and that a $6,000 hearing aid would help me at night. I gave a $3,000 deposit. I left his office and thought what did I just do?????????????
