I do not recommend this office.
Love going here. For small town Drs they are awesome and have always treated our family very well. Dr Dick (spell?) is very good with the kids. We are always treated well and in a timely manner.
As far as small town doctors go, AFC is pretty good. Hardly ever a wait at the walk-in side. Dr. Fellows is fantastic but she seems to always be scheduled out for at least a month. The other doctors and nurse practitioners are all pretty caring. Turnover seems kind of high, in my 4 years in Paola I've seen at least 4 doctors/nurse practitioners come and go. Overall, a great resource for a rural community.
I think that the quality of health care at AFC is very good. I've been going there for over 15 years and I've never had a problem with the Doctors, Nurses, or Staff at any time. I'm not sure if I could handle the kinds of stresses that these people deal with on a daily basis. I've gone in with a variety of different ailments from sinusitis to a black widow spider bite. The receptionists have always been patient and courteous to me. I'm not the easiest person to deal with, especially when I'm sick. My hats off to them.
Front desk ladies are very rude, even on the phone, they act like its a big inconvenience to do their job! Some of the nurses are also rude, its impossible to get an appointment with your dr most of the time you have to go through walk -in. Overall I'd rather drive an extra hr to go to a dr that's worth it
