I have been using AVS for the last 16 yrs. They are cheaper than most vets and the care is usually pretty good, but I have learned the hard way not to trust recent graduates. I will never let anyone see my babies again except an experienced vet. I find Dr. Wendy Day and Dr. Bridget Kidwell to be the best vets there.
Good solid care for small animals. Caring professionals that reduce costs in every way they can.
My family has used AVS for over 20 years now. I went to see Dr. Finney, and she was HORRIBLE. She was very rude and did not have good 'bed side manner'. I was not pleased with her. I will continue to go back, but not see her. The owner called me back when I left a message to complain and he was great. Been using this vet for 27 years! We have moved from Baton Rouge but we drive back now to take our pets! The quality of care provided is excellent. They really care about the animals and know what they are doing.They seem to have updated technology and equpiment too. The price can't be beat either!
I am so very dissappointed with this service. I trusted them to give my pets the best care they need and it seemed like the Vet (lady) didn't even like animals at all. She man handled my dog just to put the tethascope to his chest. VERY unnessisary!!!! My dog was so scared he peed and pooped everywhere, now is this there regualar care, God I hope not. Best prices in town without sacrificing quality and care for your pet! Extremely convenient hours and they take walk-ins!
