We were recommended to come here and I am very disappointed with the care that my husband received regarding a procedure. I will be reporting Dr. Gerber and the Homewood office to the Illinois Department of Public Health for negligent care. Very unprofessional. One example of this is that the staff gave my husband the "before your procedure" instructions after he was done with his procedure. I had a post op annual visit scheduled 2 months in advance I get to my appointment this morning and they tell me the doctor Im suppose to see is out for a month so I ask is there another doctor who can see me? Receptions says no but the man that walked in before me doesn't have an appointment. The office staff is soooo unprofessional and liars they claimed they called me and left a message about me rescheduling which they didn't....I have no missed calls or voicemails from them my phone isn't setup for voicemails.
I called and was asked if I wanted to my agent to speak English. I thought Homewood was in the US.
My mother was scheduled an appointment and was required to brink urine sample and a copy of a recent CT scan. After waiting almost a month for a follow up, the staff claimed they never received it ( even though I hand delivered it). Then within 3 minutes we were told the imaging was too hard to see. The front desk employee seemed very incompetent and staff all seemed like it was just ok to reschedule another month out. If people are at the doctors office they are usually in pain.
