We were recommended to come here and I am very disappointed with the care that my husband received regarding a procedure. I will be reporting Dr. Gerber and the Homewood office to the Illinois Department of Public Health for negligent care. Very unprofessional. One example of this is that the staff gave my husband the "before your procedure" instructions after he was done with his procedure. The doctor never reviewed things to do or how to prepare for this procedure prior to it occurring. There are more examples as well.
Extremely upset at a person: Jessica Franco. She should not be allowed to be working at this facility. It is obvious that she does not want to be here and does not speak well of the patients or their concerns. Please do better.
I was referred to Dr Chavin about 10 years ago to assess the possibility of Prostate cancer. The cancer was confirmed shortly thereafter, and after several opinions on what course to take, it was Dr Chavin's suggestion of active surveillance that I choose. He was the only professional to suggest it, and that surveillance lasted the past 10 years. Dr Chavin, NP Nicole, and the rest of his team have been wonderful to work with during that time. I would highly recommend Dr Chavin and his team.
The doctor George Sreckovic was very rude and assertive, he didn't let me explain my pain or the reason I was there. I had such high expectations, since the recepcionist recommended him. He just assumed things, and didn't even heard what I was trying to say.
Dr. Shah and Danielle are fantastic doctors.
