The care was adequate. I feel like my surgery was pushed through as if they were filling a gap left by a cancelation. I appreciate the fast turn over but it was difficult to fully prepare in time because I always had to leave a message and then wait two days to get a response. Fortunately my previous labwork met their criteria. Dr. Hayashi did not fully explain the risks, and pros and cons of my surgery and adjunct therapy options like radiation. My father was scheduled for a carotid endarterectomy at 5:00 a.m. and the office cancelled at 4:00 p.m. the day before, citing that the scheduler was out sick and never reserved the operating room. While illness happens, it’s unacceptable for a medical practice to have no backup plan for critical patient care. Dealing with the phone lines here is an actual nightmare. Even after resolving my issue which took 5 calls on 5 separate days with 5 voicemails during there open hours on weekdays still was horrifically frustrating. Even with calling now 50% of the options you pick when calling lead to dead ends or robots that hang up on you. If you have any means of going someplace else I’d recommend saving yourself the hassle

Dr. Gellman is amazing! Attentive, talented, knowledgeable and has a very kind bedside manner. Had a fistula removed and was ensured I’d be great post-op, and I was.
