Any doctor who feels that he/she can make their patients wait for 2-4 hours to be seen is a doctor I don’t care to see. If nothing else the office staff should tell patients when they check in. When one patient checked in and asked how long the apt. typically takes she responded “with Dr. Gordon it typically takes 2-3 hours” and when you read their reviews they ALL speak to the 2-4 hour wait time. No thanks!
Dr Gordon has been my wife's retina care specialist for the past five years. I was referred to him by another retina specialist. He is a very knowledgeable, caring, and near perfect follow-through doctor. He takes time to study the problem and explain in detail the solutions. So, if you are in a rush, he is not for you. Dr. Gordon doesn’t preform drive through retina care. If you have any systems of what are the four vision disorders common at any age, glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy, Dr. Gordon is highly recommended, he is a member of several professional organizations including the American Society of Retina Specialists and the Association of Research in Vision and Ophthalmology. I waited 4 hours to see Dr Gordon. I blame the office staff for not communicating. With wait this long they need to invest in a system similar to some ER where they can tell you how long is the wait then the patient can go to lunch and manage their day. He is the best at what he does so it depends on your medical condition if the wait is worth it for you.
