Their billing department is notorious for getting your name wrong, the insurance claim will be denied due to improper name, and they will happily send your bill off to collections…due to them not being bad at their job. Don’t be intimidated by them. I’ve went back and forth with them multiple times, even going as high as the Secretary of State’s office over them sending things off to collections that they shouldn’t have. The letter from the SoS made them hush real quick. Awful company to deal with.
Please stay on top of your bill and keep trying to reach them! In January of 2019, I received an X-Ray at Braxton County Memorial Hospital which was charged to Associated Radiologists. I paid the bill (close to $1,000) promptly and on time. Associated Radiologists kept billing me even though I had a receipt, and they were not reachable on their automated system that I called repeatedly.
