Previously, I was seeing Carolyn Fearn and she was great. She was very friendly and very comfortable to talk to. She was never in a hurry and always listened to all I had to say, plus seemed generally concerned with my well-being. Eventually, she transferred me over to their new headache specialist, Dr. Young. Dr. Young is amazing as well! I love her! She is also a pleasure to talk to and also spent time listening to my concerns. Aside from the doctors, the assistants and staff at this clinic are very nice and helpful!
I had a great experience at my appointment with Nicole Getzel of Associated Neurologists yesterday. The check-in staff were friendly and helpful. I only had to wait about 5 minutes in the waiting room before I got in to see Dr. Getzel. She was very professional in her examination, yet very friendly and informative as she went through the steps of the exam. I am SO thankful for Dr. Young! She has been the biggest advocate to get the help and answers I need to weave my way through 25 years of health problems and suffering! Finally, enjoying a quality of life I have never known at 32 years "old" and it all started with being under her care. Not only does she know her stuff, she actually cares. Dr. Young helped me after a difficult brain injury and traumatic car accident that impacted every aspect of my life. I will never forget everything she did for me. Dr. Young made all the appropriate referrals so I can heal. Her whole team from medical assistant to receptionist. We need more Drs like her in the world.
Disappointed - Dr. Getzel clearly took no time to review my chart before my visit. When I explained my symptoms (that were my chart) she answered with something analogous to "why are you here, I obviously can't help you." There was very little compassion expressed in the process, that's fine, but I'm disappointed they took my appointment and didn't take 5mins to look at my case.
