Although Dr. Pethe and the technician who took care of me were excellent, the overall experience was terrible. Following the examination, I unfortunately "attempted" to order two pair of glasses fairly expensive lenses and frames (Regular and Sunglasses). "Anthony" assisted and apparently wrote the size of frame / style / cost / manufacturer and type of lenses on a sticky note. Dr was really nice but the front desk people were so rude???
I’d an eye emergency in Feb & thankfully was given a swift appointment to see Dr Petey. I was very well looked after by Ms M & Ms L at the front desk cos I was struggling to keep my right eye open and was walking around half blind. Fast forward today for my minor eye review (4 visits altogether), I still get excellent & exceptional care & service from everyone at this practice. I am not sure what is going on with this office? It’s been a pain from start to finish. The front desk lady had my *assumed* insurance wrong and told me I would be self pay. My apt took FOREVER. I tried to call and text them to order my contacts at least 10 times, only for them to FINALLY tell me weeks later that they’re on a pause for ordering contacts? What does that even mean? I would love to give this office 5 stars. Doctors are fantastic, however the receptionists are very rude. I had to call twice to get my prescription and itemized receipt sent over and both times I was met with rude and short responses even though I was friendly. The first call, I was told they were not sure if they could send me an itemized receipt and when I explained it was for insurance and I needed it I was met with a frank “I know”.
