Zero stars but this wont stop other from falling in this trap.. its the system thats messed up.
You hear bad things about medical billings, but this is just another level.They are borderline fraudulent. They send bills with no explanation, you pay bills, they send more bills. The proper way to deal with this company is filing complaints with regulators. Do not waste your time contacting them. nobody would respond.
My review is entirely about the invoicing and bill pay system, as the bill is not clear enough for me to identify who the provider actually was. Like others, I received a random text about 2 months after an ER visit without having first received a paper bill. All my other ER invoices had come and passed, so this presented like a scam. Received a text from them to make payment after 5 months? It looked so sketchy.
Never received a bill. 6 mos after ER visit we received an unidentified text message stating we owed money with no identifying information, no patient account number, no date of service - just a link to click and a phone number to call. Seemed like a scam, so not wanting to click the link I searched online for the actual phone number to call this business (which turns out is different than that listed in the text).
