Such a shady business. On the initial paperwork that I received from this business, they said if I disputed the claim to respond via writing - and I did. I hand wrote an explanation as to why I thought the debt was invalid and then I received no further correspondence from them until I got a letter from the courts. They claimed they served me (which they clearly did not, as I was shocked when I got papers from the courts saying that a judgment had been made because I failed to appear).
