Good customer service seems to no longer be a thing no matter which branch you go to. It's a shame because our extended family has been a part of this bank for many decades. They used to at least pretend to care about their loyal customers and to not treat you like a number. We're planning to switch & open more accounts with ECU, which has always treated us well.

I love Associated Bank for general banking. Even have my home and stuff through them. Great customer service and I have rarely had any issues. My only complaint is their currency exchange scam (which it pretty much is). They will totally rip off their customers and it isn't right. My best friends bank charges nothing for currency exchange. These guys wanted 1.40 per euro. Current exchange is 1.17. So I have to pay an extra 23 cents per euro to get a different currency for my vacation. Terrible unresponsive website for a car loan! Cannot set up autopay for a specific day or an overpayment, cannot see upcoming payments, does not work with the app, and crashes most of the time. 0 stars if I could.
Their webapp isn't amazing, but besides that I've never had any issues with this company.
