Something is OFF with this bank. I have never encountered so many problems and obstacles with a bank before in my life. I've been with big banks and credit unions, and I've had 5 times more problems with this bank than all of the other financial institutions I've done business with combined. This bank will create obstacles on purpose to force you to come into the office where they can try to sell you credit cards and other financial products. Can this branch get tellers that know what they’re doing. Young kid looks lost. Was unable to look up an account to deposit money into. Gave him checks . Then he asks me my name . It’s on the check. Then he asked me my address . It’s on the check. Then he asked me for my ID . Which I had already shown him for an earlier transaction. And was still on the counter in front of him… Got frustrated at this point and walked out.

When I say loud and rude the customer service rep totally disrespectful towards black customers didn’t acknowledge me kept placing all my items on the counter although I handed him my documents even placed my funds on the counter totally disrespectful clearly didn’t want to help me!
Today's experience at this branch has convinced me to close my Associated Bank account for good. I came in today during a lunch break to withdraw $5000 cash. I had limited time so I asked ahead of time if they could accommodate the larger withdrawal. The teller said they could, having presumably gotten a confirmation message from her manager. 5 minutes of small talk later, the teller still had no resolution, and it turns out her manager was sitting right behind as they were messaging.
