They never answer calls whatsoever
This bank serves my purposes very well! I had a low-balance personal checking account there just to get laundry quarters easily, and they've always been lovely to work with and never tried to sell me additional services I didn't need. James Plutchak was very helpful when I opened my account and was considering whether a safety deposit box made sense at the time. I started my business in early 2024 and decided to do my first business banking account with Associated Bank to support local. Unfortunately my experience was very bad. First of all, I was denied a business credit card even though I deposited money into the business bank account and set up direct deposit, and even though my fico score was 780 and other banks allowed me to open business credit cards shortly after.
