I was just turned away from opening a new account at Associated Bank on University Ave in Madison. They told me they didn’t have time for me. I was the only one there with three associates standing around. I am not sure how they received the highest review in 2017 (I Googled “Best Rated Banks in Wisconsin”), but things change I suppose. I will need to research a better alternative that wants my business. I value customer service (yes, old school), and not feeling valued right through door is a huge alarm for me.
I had my first bank account here at 9. Glad I came back years later.
