I came to the branch to make my mortgage payment. Told the teller i am making my mortgage payment. As of May 20th I am now receiving a letter in the mail stating my mortgage payment was not received, is late, and i now have late fees. Called customer service and stayed on the phone 30+min to figure out what was going on. Your teller deposited my whole check into my principle and didn't pay my mortgage payment! Ridiculous! Well 0 stars is not an option so guess I’ll start here. I get a phone call from my fiance she was doing a wire transfer for me, turns out the so called “regional manager” was there along with the “bank manager “ who didn’t know how to do a wire transfer. So he brings her in a room with the bank manger sits next to her making her feel uncomfortable due to the creepy vibe he brings off. Went to the bank for help with an easy wire transfer for my fiancé. What should have been a simple and quick experience turned into a very creepy, terrible and just right flat out insulting. Neither the manager nor the “regional manager” knew how to perform the transfer. I left Associated Bank about a year ago and had a terrible experience at the new bank. So, I'm happy to say, I should have never left and just returned to Associated Bank.
This is the worst bank. They will take in your money quickly. However they purposely make it difficult to take out money. What can be done over the phone in other banks, requires an appointment. They don’t answer the phone. They are understaffed. They can’t service a walk in. Avoid at all costs. I am taking all my money out. They told me to leave a message for an appointment. They never booked the appointment. I waited two hours for service. I am really in awe. When frustrated they threatened to call the police.
