My daughter and I were at the Portage bank on July 8th 2924, we sa Mike for a loan for my daughter , she and I have accounts at this bank. We were treated like we were the dumbest women he knew. He was condescending and rude to us. never asked if we had an account with the bank, offered to get me a credit card to pay off my daughters debt. Great experience with banker Mike Niedermair in the portage location of Associated. We needed a medallion signature, so made an appt. Mike called and wanted to make sure we had all documentation, as it’s a very specific process. We didn’t have all our ducks in a row, so we rescheduled. Upon meeting, there were issues with the forms we had printed out, with which he was very helpful. Came in to get larger bills, I had three different piles to keep separate (mine, my fiancé, and a separate pile). I ended coming out with 5 piles of money, which I don’t know which is which, they also couldn’t tell me which was which. “Must have gotten mixed up” was the response. I did come in at 11:30 am and they close at noon. They told me I should have made an appointment, which I said you can just get what you can for now. Michael Niedermair was unprofessional and completely unhelpful. He called me several times before my scheduled in-person appt and when I offered to call him back (because I was walking in to vote) he said he’d be in appts ALL DAY, it sounds like he didn’t want to “waste his time” following thru with our in person appt.
