I cannot recommend Associate Professor Michael Cooper and his secretary, Kathy, highly enough! After having an ineffective endometriosis surgery with a different surgeon, I traveled to see Associate Professor Cooper, and it was well worth it. I recently visited prof cooper and I can't recommend him highly enough. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The receptionist kathy was so friendly and lovely Prof cooper took the time to listen to my concerns and answered all my questions with compassion and clarity. His professionalism and expertise were evident throughout the appointment, and I felt reassured in his care. He made sure I was comfortable during the examination, which I truly appreciated Highly recommend

I had 2 procedures done with him and I am very grateful for his service and Kathy (administrator). First was endometriosis and fibroids issues, I was suffering for years, didn’t know what happened to me, tried many different treatments, finally got a GP who referred me to Dr. Cooper. The 2nd was hysterectomy, after two kids was a good decision to do so, I went on op first as private and as public patient for the 2nd, I was treated the same way, very please with the outcomes. I had really high hopes for Dr Michael Cooper. But I spent $385 for 30 minutes of his time to educate me on things I already knew about endometriosis. He spent 10 minutes of the appointment writing dot points on paper with info like age, name and ultrasound. He should be doing that before seeing the patient. So really I only had 20 minutes and the only question that was asked about me and my situation was 'If I see myself getting pregnant in the future?'. Dr Cooper accidentally put 2 IUDs in my uterus at once, then didn't listen for months when I complained of excessive pain and bleeding. He then charged me for the hysteroscopy to investigate and on finding the 2 IUDs he neither apologised or refunded my costs for correcting his own mistake. One star is generous after that experience.
