The care for the residence is excellent, loving, and respectful. The food is outstanding and the house is always spotless. They communicate well and are very accommodating when we want to visit. This has been a great move for my father.
I placed a loved one in the hands of Assisted Living Cottage. He’s a stoke victim and paralyzed needing 100% care. It’s always scary but the owner, management and staff have all gone above and beyond to meet his needs. He can be a difficult one to manage but the staff is trained, respectful always and puts him at ease. Communication is great between us. I never have to worry about what’s going on. Our dad is currently at the Cottage and every time we leave after our visit, we are always thankful he is there. He is healthy and looks great. He needs considerable amount of attention and care, and they are providing those needs. They try to cater to what he likes and what makes him happy and feel at home. Peace of mind and good care are what we all want for our aging parents, and that is what we have with the Assisted Living Cottage.
Be cautious as care and services have diminished over the past year. My mom had been a resident for about 4 years. Care at that time was tremendous. Then things started to change with constant staff turnover and new staff with little compassion and the inability to recognize when a resident is in distress. We had moved mom out last month.
Incredible staff turnover. Inconsistent care, and poor communication. Do not recommend.
