Theresa's is warm and caring. Great staff my Mother felt safe and well looked after there. Clean and safe environment.
My father has been here for about six months. This is the first place that he is finally enjoying his meals. He is gaining weight and taking his medications. They have home-cooked meals and they are warm when they are served (If they are meant to be warm). Theresa and her staff do a great job keeping an eye on all of their residents. We moved our loved one out of this facility two months after admitting her to this place because of what we found out. The caretaker was very blunt with us and told us that Teresa is the main "care giver" at the facility and she has no medical background and is very moody, to the point of abuse for which she has been under investigation by Illinois. This is public record. She had a covid outbreak at the facility because of no infection control. She also lost her license to run the facility in the past because of many issues ... read more
Theresa runs this place, including the care of patients. She has no medical experience or degrees and is elderly herself. She is not a RN, but uses a part-time RN when available. My elderly aunt lived here. Being very old, my aunt would repeatedly ask for things and I suppose she irritated Theresa because I found out from the Illinois Department of Public Health that they investigated this home and cited the home because among other deficiencies, including the lack of a consistent RN on site, Theresa was seen by one of the p... read more
My family and I could not be any happier that our parents are in such a loving, caring, wonderful home , being cared for by Theresa and her attentive and caring staff. With excellent care 24/7 care, delicious and healthy meals, a warm and happy home, and clean and cheery rooms, my parents are thriving and happy. We’re so grateful to Theresa!
