I frequent this place several times a week however I just left disgusted after witnessing a volunteer standing behind the counter wearing Assistance League apron and a patron speaking disparagingly about the LGBTQ community and minorities. It was a lady with grey hair and a ponytail on Thursday July 31 at 10:30 am. Unfortunately I will longer be supporting this charity and will make it my mission to share my experience with everyone.
We love this location and they have expanded to the building next door. Prices are just what thrift shops should be, a good mix of great deals and fair prices for quality items. They still have books, housewares and clothes at great prices and so well organized. They separated from the Assistance League and we applaud that choice. Find in an article that was advertising "largest thrift stores." This was not the case as it is smaller than your average house. The only it may have going for it is that it supposedly helps children. I can not attest to this as factual. But if you enjoy thrift shopping, it's a nice "hole in the wall" place.
I can't rate this place because they close so early. By the time I get off work and get there, i only have 5 minutes to go inside. How can a business survive closing so early? I can't go early because I am at work when they open. I am off Saturday and Sunday but I have too much family stuff over the weekend.
