I was genuinely excited to try Assembly Dental. The receptionist and other staff were kind, professional, and quick to respond. I really appreciated their warmth and efficiency! Unfortunately, my experience with the dental care itself was disappointing. Dr. Winger spent less than five minutes with me and recommended a $1.2K treatment for one chipped tooth (after insurance), even though another staff member had already started preparing filling material which is what I had come in for. Used to be good during covid but not good anymore. they frequently change their hygienists so I’ve had a different one every time. They try to get in as many patients in as possible and only let them have 30 minutes for a cleaning. Last visit they spent 30 minutes on my teeth cleaning and didn’t finish cleaning my plaque and they told me to just try to not make it any worse till next visit…guess what -of course it got worse since they did not take off all the plaque the previous visit. I used to really like this dental office. I had a smile makeover and have spent a lot of money at this business. Recent staff changes have made this office go downhill. First I had an appointment that I had to cancel and re-book but it seems that the receptionist never booked the new date she gave me it into the computer. Frustrating appointment process! My husband scheduled an appointment today and even took time off work, only to have it canceled due to an error on their end. They initially entered the wrong birth date in the system, preventing him from completing some pre-appointment paperwork. Although he was able to resolve the issue a few hours before the appointment, they still canceled it. This place needs have better communication with their patients because they need to call the patients if the dentist does decide to not show up because of the weather.
