This was my first experience with physical therapy, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better one than at ASR Physical Therapy. I came in with knee pain that had been lingering for a while, and Anika was amazing from day one. She’s incredibly knowledgeable—especially with dry needling and strengthening exercises—and she made me feel confident that my knee pain would improve. Coach Tiger here! As a true advocate of recovery, I can by far say this was the best I've had. Not only did I fall asleep from the gentleness of Dr. Anika, but she fixed something in my scapula that no one has been able to fix in 11 years. So that spoke volumes enough for me. I couldn’t walk for weeks due to sciatica and lower back spasm.Not be able to walk and do everyday activities was very hard for me. At some point I was feeling depressed. While playing tennis I sustained slipped disc resulting in severe back pain and Sciatica pain. I consulted Dr Matt and was so impressed with his expertise. He was extremely helpful and compassionate. He is doing an excellent job helping people to get back into their best of health status.
I had pain and discomfort in my ankle for months. Some days I couldn't step out of bed without limping. I would give 10 stars for Dr. Anika for working with me and progressing my recovery over 10 sessions. She is very kind, thoughtful, a great listener, and knows her stuff. She identified issues I had not noticed nor considered. If you do the exercises she prescribes and follow the recommended routine, you will get better.
