Inept. A young crew and confrontational supervisor. Doing work for Excel who they cited for the extraordinarily bad job they did. I recommend you find somebody else or , if they are doing Excels work, call Excel and ask them to send out a crew from another vendor.
Editing my previously positive review (below). Asplundh decided to not remove my second tree near power line after a 7-month delay. I end up bearing the cost, risk, and difficulty of their planning crew's laziness. Very poor business practices. Excellent experience with Gunnar Lindstrom and his crew. They scouted our situation, thoughtfully contemplated the best approach, took their time to do careful work, and left a neat result. I love to see a team exceeding expectations!
They can't even drive on the road properly. Cutting people off who are going 55 and they just pull out. If they can't even drive properly I wouldn't trust them to cut down anything near me.

While these guys have been somewhat professional and easy to talk to, they started cutting our trees without prior consent and/or prior notice other than a doorbell ring when we were gone. The trees they are trimming aren't that big of an issue. Rather, the amount of standing around and being on their phones is absurd. They have 5 to 6 people, 2 of which are up in the trees trimming and cutting, but then 3 on the ground just staring at their phones. This company does not appear to function very efficiently at all.
