I’ve had to come in twice due to a herniated disc, and both times the medical staff on call have been absolutely fantastic. I felt well cared for each visit, and their attentiveness even helped speed up my specialist appointment. Today (7-31-25) I came in with severe nerve compression and for pain management. The nurse who cared for me this morning was incredible—everything a nurse should be. My doctor also took excellent care of me. I went in Saturday night to the Medford ER and they said I hard a uti. I told them I was 5.5 weeks pregnant and they didn’t seem concerned at all. They didn’t even do an ultrasound because they don’t have one at the ER. They put me on antibiotics and sent me home. After 2 days went by my pain wasn’t getting better, I went to Wausau Aspirus and they did a stat ultrasound and noticed my pregnancy had ruptured in my ovary and I had blood all in my abdomen.
