I went in for involuntary detox. Since my experience at Orlando health was so bad, I think this place did a pretty alright job. Their staff is really nice and caring. They seem to try to do what is best for their patients.
I have so much more trauma after leaving this place. Do not go here and definitely don't leave your loved ones here thinking they're in good hands. They will get worse. No therapy, no compassion or empathy from the staff, VERY rude, and they give you the run around to keep you as long as possible. Worst experience of my life. Please read the other 1 star reviews and know, that is EXACTLY! what it is like. Very unsafe and dirty, on top of everything else.
Unfortunately I've had to go detox on more than one occasion. A lot to be honest. This place was a nightmare. No compassion from staff. The only comfort I received was from the AA speakers that came twice in the week I spent there and even they were treated poorly. If possible choose another place for help. We have options.
My girlfriend was sent here and it has to be the worst experience, she's miserable and unable to sleep and in order for her to be able to leave she has to talk to a doctor but the doctor is absolutely nowhere to be found with no updates as to when she'll be able to talk to her, she's been here for 2 days and she's so much worse off than if she had not gone there at all. If there was any way to give less stars I would because this place is worse than jail, and I've been there.
