I was accosted by the lady at the reception desk upon leaving the facility. She shamed me as I was leaving for having used what is designated as a "Public Washroom" while I was there to visit my husband. I was humiliated in front of several other people. Not at all a welcoming environment.
I relocated my mother from another retirement residence at the end of December. From our first visit, everyone at Traditions has been amazing - professional, friendly and welcoming. During her first 1.5 months, she received more care and attention than the entire 5 years at her last residence. In mid-February, she had a health emergency (while I was out of the country) which required a 30+ day hospital stay. The entire staff took excellent care of mom and helped her transition back home. As we arrived for a meeting with Razeea, to discuss respite care for my mom and the possibility of a longer stay, we were greeted warmly by the manager Ann, and nurse Sue. Razeea made us feel comfortable and listened to our concerns. All our questions were answered with knowledge and empathy. This will be our third visit and our mom enjoyed her stay and the surroundings. We had such good feelings after our meeting with Razeea. We even had a chance meeting with the chef Carol. I recently moved my mother into Aspira Traditions, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and at ease.
