What a beautiful “Mother’s Day” luncheon Aspira Heatherwood Assisted Living put on for all their resident mothers!! 🌸 Family members were also invited to share in the luncheon which added love, joy and special company to this celebration!! My mom has lived in Heatherwood Assisted Living for 2 years now and we just celebrated her 100th birthday several days ago. I wanted a lovely venue with gourmet food and Heatherwood said they could fill my requirements and I didn’t have to look at other locations. Mom loves everything about Heatherwood and I thought this could make my life easy celebrating in house. This place overcharged seniors. My low income Mom who gets OAS needed a place to stay for a month after having surgery. These sharks want to charge her $4300 for a month I explained to their administration that she shouldn't have to pay that much as a low income senior. They responded with well it's like going to Starbucks or Tim Hortons. You can pay $8 for coffee or $2.00. according to her it's the head office who sets prices. if you don't like our price go elsewhere.
