Astoria is a beautiful place. The staff is amazing, friendly and genuine. Everyone does their utmost to ensure the residents are cherished and heard. There is a lot to do with fun outings, daily exercise, tons of entertainment and activities.

nurse jaena was irritable, impatient, and starting arguments over nothing. she did this about 3 or 4 times. she behaved for 1 day and after that ocntinued to be irritiable and impatient. completely unprofessional. not to be trusted. There was no apology. one person made an excuse for her bad behavior trying to normalize it. She is the weak link in the chain. I have a family member living at Astoria for the last 9 months. She does like the building and location in very convenient for getting to shopping and doctors appointments etc. The staff are friendly and most really go out of their way to help out the residents. I have heard that the food has been an issue. Sometime great, other days just so-so. Overall I am glad she's living there as i know she's being cared for well. I would recommend Astoria, but be aware it can be pricey.
It's more like a resort.
