Our experience with Aspen Rehab has been considerably mixed. Moving our parent to facility was smooth and uneventful. Unfortunately, I think the information regarding care was not. I knew going in from past experience that without an advocate present information flow falls apart. Without our intervention with Aspen staff regarding medication it would have been a mess. Since this is a transitional rehab, I appreciated the freedom and flexibility. The staff was like family to each other and the patients. The food was good, and I enjoyed eating in the dining room to be able to associate with other patients, but I will bring your meal to your room. The therapy was great, and I got my strength back and learned how to manage stairs, wheelchairs, and getting in and out of the car.
