Worth the day trip drive to see the foliage. I always miss the timing but this time was amazing. It did start raining at some point so definitely need a light jacket and snacks. It's an easy trail but hiking shoes are probably most appropriate. Lots of people, family and kids. This was in early October.
Signs were not the best
It’s a nice trail but it’s not marked very well to be a loop trail. Lots more people on this hike and not very friendly. Get here early, plenty of parking.
Perfect trail to see the Aspens in the fall.
