Terrible place. Warning!!! if you loved your loved ones do not bring them here! They will not get the care they deserve. The rooms are a disaster. Staff is completely overworked especially on the weekends. Management will never respond appropriately. CNA’s will leave residents sitting in their own urine for hours at a time. Dietary needs are not met appropriately I had to transfer my great grandma because she fell because staff is never around!!

My Mom was in rehab there. I am basing this review on her comments. I personally would rate them better by 0.75 stars. First, the food is instituinal fare, bland, unseasoned and generally overcooked. Second, 90% of the staff are kind, caring and wonderfully helpful. The other 10% make the place a nightmare. Last, the staffing is lower than needed for the beds available. The call light wait time averages 10-12 minutes which for a skilled nursing rehab is problematic.

My dad had a quintuple heart bypass and after 7 days at the hospital was put in Aspen Meadows for rehab. Mind you he is a severe diabetic and even the hospital was having problems with his levels and he is on more than 10 meds. He needed help walking and at the hospital was doing 3 times a day physical therapy. He gets to Aspen, he is put in a dirty room with a difficult roommate who was up all night and loud and obnoxious. This place shouldn’t just rethink how it operates — it should close its doors. My stepdad was sent here for rehab after open-heart surgery, and what we witnessed was nothing short of disgraceful. They put a recovering heart patient into a cramped room with a roommate who was loud, rude, and constantly demanding staff attention, even when nurses were already assisting my stepdad. Terrible place to put your loved one! My mother in law has a colostomy bag and the supposedly trained staff is supposed to know how to empty it and replace it with a fresh one but they were either too lazy or or have no medical training so she's been transferred to the hospital with a nasty infection. In 26 years she's never had an infection of this type! The food she's being served can't possibly be monitored by anyone as it contains most of the food items one cannot eat that has a colostomy because it will cause a painful ... read more
