The motel is really cute and the owner is so very nice. But, I thought I would share this sad news. I called the motel last week, June 13, 2019, to make an reservation and was told the the owner had passed away and they were not sure if the motel was going to remain open. We are heart broken by the news that the owner passed away, the loss of her and possibly the motel is just so sad.😢
The kindness of the proprietress, the ambiance of the place, the nostalgic old rooms and the quaint layout... you name it. And the prices were reasonable too.
I'm from Germany and this Motel is just, how we imagine Motels in the USA - from black and white movies! Charming, nostalgic and welcoming! I felt like home! Btw. Thank you Sue and Jerry! Sue is a gem! 143
Excellent. Just the kind of place I needed. Stayed for a week in the summer, quite, peaceful and owner, respectful and friendly. Will go back.
Love this place! I and my friends have stayed here a few times for Wool Market weekend; and i was here with my husband and one of my best friends for the HIghland Games weekend. The rooms are cozy and Sue is great!
