I have always been a big fan of crunch (previously Aspen) but they have really been letting things go lately. At one point recently they had 8 pieces of cardio equipment down. There is one treadmill that I know has been down for over a month. The equipment has also not been kept up on the cleaning. I have been a member since Aspen first opened at drivers village and go 5 days a week most weeks. I hope they get their act together so I don't have to look elsewhere.
I joined Crunch about 2 month ago and unfortunately had a really uncomfortable experience. On my first visit, when I went to take my photo, a front desk employee later followed my Instagram account, which felt inappropriate in a professional setting. I tried to brush it off and continued going, but the behavior didn’t improve. On multiple occasions, different front desk staff made odd or unprofessional jokes when I came in with my friend. Kat Bombard is the best Zumba instructor!! She makes us laugh and dance all hour long!!
There is no less than 3 broken stair climbers on any given day, often more... for MONTHS now. Members are complaining daily to eachother and to employees/managment but to no avail. Finding electrical tape holding handles on climbers, buttons missing making it necessary to stick fingers into electrical handle to turn up or down and error messages on machines day after day.
