Dr. Kowk is truly an excellent dentist. At another clinic, I was told that one of my teeth had a dead nerve and needed a root canal, and that four other teeth might need to be extracted. I came here for a second opinion, and Dr. Kowk carefully examined my teeth on two separate visits before making a diagnosis. He confirmed that the nerve was still alive and 60% healthy, so there was no need for a root canal. He also determined that the extractions were completely unnecessary. I am very disappointed with my experience. The dental assistant’s handling of the suction caused me to choke multiple times, and their response was rude rather than supportive. This level of care is unacceptable and made me feel both uncomfortable and disrespected. I would not recommend this clinic unless improvements are made.I hope this is addressed to prevent similar experiences for other patients.
My friend had a highly distressing and unacceptable experience at this dental clinic. During the procedure, the dental assistant used water spray in a way that repeatedly caused severe discomfort and made it feel like it was being forced directly toward the throat. When my friend expressed that the treatment was painful and uncomfortable, instead of adjusting or responding professionally, the dental assistant reportedly responded in a rude and unprofessional manner, including verbal reprimands.
