Sent an email to order a cake on a Sunday evening at 8:53PM. At 8:56PM received an email saying an invoice was created and the order would be cancelled if not received by 10PM. I did not see the email as I was logged out and having a 64 minute window to place the order on a Sunday evening is ridiculous. Monday at 9:40AM received an email that the invoice order was extended to 12PM and I needed to pay to avoid cancellation or extra fees. 4.8 star review? Do people not know good bread? Apparently not in Holly Springs. The prices are way too high for the quality you get. Just go to Publix for something good. The workers always seem dead inside, and want to rush you out. I don’t understand the high reviews here. Must be that Google review service to remove bad comments. If you want overloaded sugar with minimal bread and bad customer service, this is your spot.
I have tried this place 2 times now and yesterday evening being the last. I wanted to love this bakery, but it is not worth the high price tag. Not only are the items overpriced, but the customer service is actively unwelcoming. The employee (white girl) acted annoyed and made me feel like I was bothering them just by making a purchase. Paying premium prices should come with decent service, but here you get neither. If you enjoy paying high prices to be treated like an annoyance, this is the place for you.
India did a wonderful job on my custom birthday cake. The decorations and taste of the cake was delicious.She provided excellent customer service.
