When I was 28 (25 years ago) I herniated the last disc at the bottom of my back and it fractured into 3 pieces. I had several doctors want to do surgery immediately. Dr. Ragoowansi explained how he was a good surgeon but if I could live with it, he had alternate ways to heal. So I spent about a year working through his treatment and physical therapy. for many years I had suffered from severe lower back pain which came and went. Eventually it became so severe and constant that I could no longer work. I was referred to Dr. Ragoowansi for treatment. At the initial examination he determined the issue needed immediate attention. Two days later I was in Pittsburgh for surgery. In at 6:30 AM, walked out pain free at 4:30 PM. After a month of getting the run around from the ER and my PCP I saw Dr. Ragoowansi. He sent me straight to the hospital for one more test (I'd had multiple - everyone kept saying this was in my head). Surgery the following day for a herniated disc in my neck. I cannot say enough about this amazing neurosurgeon!!! Highly recommended - very down to earth - extremely knowledgeable!!!!
Really nice guy who is very knowledgeable, I had severe spinal stenosis at 33 and needed surgery and I honestly feel 100% after not being able to move before the surgery from being in so much pain. I would recommend dr ragoo to anyone!
