This is my experience with AW. First, I never heard of them and I used a realtor (would not recomment him) so he found the property. I would reccomend AW to a friend as a first time homeowner, but I would let them know that you are just a number and that there are really no negotiations with the company at all. The home is built nicely, but the process of dealing with them is not the best. Do NOT buy a home from Ashton Woods. Our construction manager, Clayton, has been absolutely horrible to deal with and is by far the worst communicator we have ever experienced. Since moving into our home in January, our breaker has tripped EVERY single week. During one out-of-town trip, it tripped again and caused all of my frozen breast milk to spoil.
