Positive: Yassine the examinateur for the TCF exam was extremely pleasant. Negatives: 1. Scheduled at 10am but only started 12nn and finished at 12:30pm. This is possibly due to over booking. Was not able to take a short break to eat after the oral exam. I was extremely hungry by the time we took our written exams. 2. No chairs or waiting area to take a seat and relax. I had a great experience at this testing center. The entire process was very well organized, which really helped reduce stress on the day of the exam. The staff were professional, accommodating, and very understanding of test takers’ needs. A special thank you to Yacine and Archana for their kindness and support, they truly made a difference and created a calm, reassuring environment. I took the TCF exam two weeks ago at the Ashton Testing Centre, and it was a great experience. The staff were very kind and friendly, and the center was clean, quiet, and well organized. My examiner was Mr. Yasin, and he was really kind, professional, and helpful. I previously took the exam at Alliance Française, but I definitely recommend the Ashton Testing Centre. It was a much better experience overall.
The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They organized everything well and calmly—which is important in a test situation. Even when my computer froze, they solved the issue quickly and in a calm manner, which helped me a lot. Great experience!
Overall, I had a great experience writing my TCF test at the Ashton. The process was well-organized, everything went smoothly, and the staff made me feel comfortable even though my stress level was extremely high. The most stressful part for me was the speaking test, but it went really well and felt much more relaxed than I expected - thanks to Yacine and his great approach.
