Let me just say: if you’re touring The Ashton Luxury Apartments and your leasing agent is Michael… buckle up. It’s going to be a ride — just maybe not the luxury one you were hoping for. Michael greeted us with all the enthusiasm of a DMV clerk on a Monday morning. As one of the long time residents of the Ashton (12+ years), I can truly say that the property is the best in Charlotte. First and foremost, safety. Apart from the 24x7 concierge (anchored by Liz), the Management has installed security cameras in the garage. I believe this is the only property in Charlotte that has this feature. This place acts in highly unethical ways. I broke the lease and paid the full 2 months contractually obligated. In addition, I opted to have them clean and take my $250 deposit. Months later, they’ve handed this over to a collection agency for $170 that are unexplained except saying (falsely) that I turned apartment over a day late. I in fact handed it over a total of 3 days before what would have been covered by rent + the two months to leave early. This is after being a tenant for 7 years with no issues. Disgusting
