We stayed at the Aston Motel after another hotel completely “dropped the ball” on our booking and turned it was for the better. Very accommodating (considering I called in well after their office hours and needed 2 rooms for 2 nights), they prepared 2 rooms for our family to stay and even checked in with us in the morning to confirm everything was ok with for our stay the next morning. The Ashton Motel is conveniently located in Tumut and is about two minutes walking distance to Coles and Kmart. The staff were helpful and upon check in provided the light breakfast which was nice. The rooms are sufficient for what you pay for. An additional benefit of staying here is that it is located near some fantastic food places. If you are in the area and looking for an affordable motel the Ashton is the one.
