Excellent food and definitely worth a visit. Midweek, you shouldn’t have any problem getting a table, but I’d recommend booking at weekends. The staff were attentive and friendly, although they seemed quite young and relatively inexperienced, perhaps Indian students from the nearby university. One didn’t know how poppadoms were made, and another recommended a curry that was supposedly milder than a korma, although I found it noticeably spicier. Overall, though, the food was excellent and the service was attentive.
It’s ok. Atmosphere and service are very good. Menu is familiar, but be careful if you’re ordering anything with ‘creamy’ in the description - chasi tasted like cream of tomato soup. It’s as if they’ve geared everything to be 30% milder in flavour than it should be. Prices are ok but there are more exciting / flavourful versions of these dishes available elsewhere.
