Dr. Lin of Mount Sinai Spine Center is in my opinion the best doctor for this type of surgery. Believe me because I’ve had so many surgeries for different things. Not only did he follow up, but he followed up after the surgery every day and worked my way through it. Unbelievable. I have already recommended him to many of my friends and family
Incredible doctor and staff! We live on Long Island but drive to NYC just to see Dr. Shaha! Before going to see Dr. Shaha we went to NY Blood and cancer and they totally missed the cancer my husband has in his thyroid & nodes! Dr. Shaha found what they didn’t and we are scheduling surgery this week! Forever thankful for Dr. Shaha and his staff for saving my husband life and not just dismissing us like NY Blood and cancer!
I was referred to MSK by my PCP after a nodule on my thyroid was detected at my annual physical and a fine needle biopsy came back suspicious. MSK was able to get my in the same week to meet with Dr. Shaha, they assigned me to him, and I am so thankful that was how it all worked out. Dr. Shaha is very knowledgeable and caring. He takes him time at all appointments to explain in terms that are easy to grasp and understand to a person like myself with no medical background.
