Stole deposit! Took £1500 to book job over 12 months ago, unable to book him in now unable to return the £1500 owed to a 75 year old pensioner despite promising to go to bank 6 weeks ago no claims he doesn't have the money and is suffering health problems so cant work. I would steer clear. Also 1 job which he arranged for us was done (small bathroom fitted for 4.5K labour) during this he had a radiator fitted but the isolations valves were not turned on and tiled over so had to remove tiles to find this and refit. TAKES MONEY IN TERMS OF DESPOSIT BUT THEN HE IS UNABLE TO BOOK THE JOB IN FOR MONTHS AND WHEN YOU GO ELSEWHERE OVER 12 MONTHS AFTER PAYING DEPOSIT AND NO WORK CARRIED OUT HE DOES NOT REFUND THE DESPOIT AFTER PORMISING TO DO SO. ALSO FOUND ISSUES WITH ANOTHER JOB HE ARRANGED FOR ME. STAY AWAY, FOR YOUR OWN GOOD
NOT TO BE TRUSTED, TOOK £1500 DEPOSIT OVER A YEAR AGO FOR WORKS TO BE CARRIED OUT, UNABLE TO BOOK HIM IN FOR MONTH ON END SO GOT SOMEONE ELSE TO DO THE WORK, HE PROMISED TO REPAY THE DEPOSIT, AND WAS "WAITING TO GO TO THE BANK" NOW HE SAY HE HAS NO MONEY AND NOT TO MESSAGE HIM AS IT IS CAUSING HIM DISTRESS. STAY AWAY FROM STUART AND HIS COMPANY!!!
