Omg! I used to think this place was trustworthy only to find out They BITE!!! They fixed my truck with wrong parts,tried to deny it and then wanted to charge to correct it...?????...and then asked me to wait 6 days to see if the owner will correct the mistake THEY made. I will never return there and will never send anyone else there again.
They do great work. They really helped me out of a bind today. Truly nice people. I am a repeat customer and have many friends that have work done there. They have done a great job in the 10 years I have been picking up friends there to have their vehicles serviced. We dropped off 2 vans with A/C problems today and they were both fixed by 5:00. I will sum up my opinion of Ashleys Automotive in one word - TRUST. I trust them. I trust that they will do a great job for a fair price. They are men of integrity and have always been honest with us. Oftentimes, the actual cost of repairs is even less than the estimate!!! We have always been impressed with not only the quality of their work, but the way they treat their customers. We highly recommend them without any hesitation.
I work for the city and I rate the Shreveport store --- awful. They moved Ron over there and all he thinks about is themselves...not us costumers. Had dropped off a Ford Expedition last Wednesday for a suspension conversion kit. Was told it will be about \$42 for them to check it out. They still hadnt ordered the part yet, when I came there the following Monday. When I told them I am on my way to pickup my suv, the final bill was \$84 before the taxes. I have used Ashleys Automotive for over 10 years and have found Wayne and Ransom to be the most honest and dependable mechanics in Shreveport/Bossier. They have worked on over 10 different cars that my family owns. All repairs were done in a timely manner. I have taken my cars to Ashleys for several years and never been disappointed. Their work is great, but just as important is how they conduct their business. They are always friendly, very considerate to the customer, always call before they do any work to make sure its ok, and are always timely in what they do. I wouldnt take any of my vehicles anywhere else.
The people at Ashleys are reliable, you can count on quality work. The only downside is that these most excellent repairmen are at a high demand so you hve to schedule any work needed. Fortunately, there is only about a week to ten days wait.
