If you’re looking for a curl specialist in the KC area, TEXTURE IS THE PLACE!! I cannot say enough positive things about Texture. I’m so incredibly grateful to Jalen for the magic she worked on my hair today. I have naturally curly hair that sits between a 2c and 3a pattern. Ashley is the BEST KC curly haircut specialist and only one I’ll ever trust my hair to, I LOVE my haircuts so much! I’ve cheated on her a few times over the last few years with other “curly experts” in the KC metro area when I needed an appointment last minute and I have always regretted it. The team at Texture is amazing and warm and genuine. I especially love that they really take their time with the cuts to get them just right! Do this for yourself you’ll be so happy!

I really had a great experience with Jalen! She took the time out to help me identify some issues with my hair and how to get better scalp and hair health, as well as teaching me how to style my hair at home. It's one thing to have a great cut and style at the salon, but it's another thing entirely to recreate it at home. I really appreciate the information and patience she showed me. I'll be back!
